Which of the Maryland MVA (or DMV) locations is less busy for international people with immigration documents? Hello All, I've been in the US legally on a work related visa for the last 3.5 years. I need a Maryland driver's license but the MVA (or DMV) allows only 30 or so people per day who present international or immigration documents. Needless to say that there are hundreds of such applicants and so they line up outside of the MVA facility as early as say the evening before the actual day of the vision, knowledge and road test. My question is this - do you know which of the Maryland MVA locations (Glenn Burnie, Waldorf, Frederick, Bel Air or Salisbury) are relatively less busy for international folks? I don't mind going to the MVA early enough (say 4 or 5 in the morning) but camping out overnight is a little too much. Thank you. Big_Dad

dumblondechic replied: "The one in Annapolis is never that busy. I don't know if they handle exactly what you are looking for though, but all they do there is license's and id's."

bigb338 replied: "I didn't have to camp out overnight. I took my wife to get her foreign documents reviewed at 7:15 AM on Friday, July 7th to the full service MVA facility in Gaithersburg and got in line at 7:25 AM when they opened the doors and started letting in small groups of people to get their documents verified. Once they verify your documents, they issue you a ticket and you exit the facility. You then proceed to lineup with everyone else outside at the door for driver's license services. At 8:30 the doors open up, you go to the information desk to get a number and wait for your number to be called by one of the clerks. The clerk takes the ticket you were issued by the document verifier and begins processing your information and administers the vision test. If everything is in order, they issue some paperwork and you proceed to to take the law/knowledge test. I believe the road test must be schedule by appointment so I am not sure if you can take the road test the same day you do everything else. Good luck on your quest for your driver's license. Send me an email if you have any questions."

wizjp replied: "If you are willing to pay someone to sit on hold for you for 300 bucks I guess..... Try talking to a district manager Customer Complaints - If you have any complaints or customer service problems with the Gaithersburg office please contact Henry Lightfoot, District Manager, at 1-301-987-8455."

Veritas replied: "All the DMV are connected by computer now. If you lose your license in Cali it will show up everywhere. This includes parking tickets."

How can I get a copy of Maryland driving record without going to the DMV? I need to see my driving record before my work does but I can't get the DMV. Is there anyway legit way to get it online?

CrabMeat replied: "go to Wal Mart and ask for Joe. He can show you the way"

LawrenceWifey replied: "im pretty sure i got mine from the MVA website for like $5?!? cant remeber exactly"

David W replied: "If you know a friendly police officer, he/she might be able to pull it for you, but otherwise, you're limited to the DMV, since they have the records. You might be able to pull it online for a small fee from the DMV website, but there's no way to do it for free without the cop."

George A replied: "Use the link below to go to the MVA website & follow the steps. It will cost you $9.00 for an non-certified copy (meaning it's not notarized) or $12.00 for a certified copy. And it will be mailed to your home within 10 business days from when you ordered it online. So it will be faster to just go to the nearest MVA & pick one up. "

Does anybody know whats on the maryland or any dmv drivers licsense test? I really need to know, my test is soon

eeyore20_69 replied: "Go to the local drivers license bureau. they have a study guide and sample questions in the back of the guide. Good luck"

jelliclepat replied: "Study the drivers manual they gave you, and you'll know."

Callida Puella replied: "Go tp the drivers licsense place. They will have practice questions and most likely a pamphlet. Study very hard. Sometimes, they'll have things on the tests you don't expect. When my brother was taking his test, he knew every number in his practice book, but all the questions were on sign color. Study hard and good luck."
